It’s been a long time since I’ve felt like myself, it’s the new me happiness based on wealth.
When I was younger I never would have thought, the world was so big and so fucked up.
Yes I know I’m feeling insecure. Yes I know I wanted this more.

It’s no secret we’ve seen better days, I’m not okay, it’s the one thing agreed upon.
Tonight’s the same as every night before, I’ll just ignore all my problems go back to bed.

All my oldest friends give me blank stares through dead eyes that I don’t recognize anymore.
It’s enough to make me sick if I even cared at all, I thought we’d never grow up miscalculated fall.
